Dream Testimonials

Northwest Florida Dream was truly part of some of the most special times of my life. This team and this organization is truly one of a kind. Walking into a sport you love, with people you don’t know can truly be terrifying, but it could not have been a better all around experience. I met some of my best friends through NWF Dream and my overall skills got better because we were taught to give everything we had every game and practice. NWF Dream gave me a boost of confidence that I did not know that I needed.

NWF Dream allowed me to become more mentally strong as well as more disciplined and these are skills that I have taken into other areas of my life such as my job and just all around daily life. Because of NWF Dream, I am a better leader and communicator and will always be thankful for that.

What makes NWF Dream different is that at the end of the day, this is so much bigger than basketball. This is a family who truly loves, supports, and pushes you to be your very best. I created lifelong friendships through this organization and people that I will always hold close to my heart. This organization makes you feel at home any time you are with them. I will always be grateful for my time with NWF Dream and the impact that it has made on my life… on and off the court.

I had the privilege of being involved with NWF Dream in two meaningful ways — as both a coach and a parent.

As a parent, I connected with other families who shared the same passion for basketball that my child did. I truly enjoyed meeting parents from other schools and building lasting relationships that will never be broken.

From a coaching perspective, I loved sharing the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over the years with the girls. It was incredibly rewarding to build relationships not only with the players from other schools, but also with the girls I coach at our own school. Watching athletes from different schools come together and form strong bonds as one team was something special. Those connections and friendships are lasting and will be difficult to break.
